Accessibility statement
What the app does for access, said plainly and up front.
Smartify
Object recognition, numpad, search and QR are four routes to the same object, which is an access decision before it is a feature decision.

What this app does, and what it does not
Four ways to reach an object
- Point the camera at it.
- Type the number printed on the label.
- Search for it by name.
- Scan the code on the label.
Holding a phone up to a painting requires a steady arm, a free hand and permission to photograph. Three of the four routes need none of those.
What we have tested
- Every control reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text scales to 200 percent without anything being cut off.
- Motion stops when the phone asks for reduced motion.
- Contrast meets the AA ratio for body text and for interface text.
What we have not solved. Audio descriptions exist for 40 of 300 objects. The map
is visual only. Both are being worked on, and this paragraph will change when they are.
The paragraph in amber is the one that makes the page worth publishing. A statement that lists only the wins reads as marketing. Naming the 260 objects without audio description tells a visitor who needs it whether the visit is worth the journey. That is what they opened the page to find out.
