How an object gets to the case

Object entry
Everything that comes through the door gets logged, whether it is a loan, an enquiry or a possible acquisition.
Acquisition and accessioning
Legal ownership passes, and the object gets its number.
Cataloguing
The record is built from whatever sources exist, and cross referenced, because an object usually has more than one story.
Location and movement control
Where it is, right now, and who moved it there.
Condition checking
Its state on a date, so the next person can tell what changed.
Use of collections
Display, loan, research, teaching. What it is allowed to be used for.
Six of the nine Spectrum primary procedures, in the order they happen. It fills on scroll with an IntersectionObserver scoped to the phone screen rather than the window, so it behaves the same everywhere. What a visitor takes away is that an accession number is a legal act, which most people have never been told.
