The winter list is shorter and carries a reduced opening tag, because from around the start of November that is the truth.
The list is data, rendered at load, which means the season switch is one field rather than a second page somebody forgets to update. In production the source is your events feed and the build stamps the time, so a stale list is visible instead of quietly wrong.
